About Us

Our Beginnings

We founded Appech in January of 2020 just before Covid19 took root, and we had a rocky start. We began as a software development firm, and worked with overseas agencies to complete the work that we architected here in the US, but that led to disaster. We just could not get overseas agencies to deliver a working product that we felt good turning over to our clients. This led to us falling behind schedule, and build several iterations of many of our first projects.

Finding Solid Ground

After several attempts at building our team of Engineers, in 2022 we began building the software team that we have today. The first member of that team was Sheharyar Ali, a young engineer from Pakistan with a thirst for knowledge. Through him we learned that the problems that we encountered were a direct result of how agencies treat thier engineers, and the solution was providing support to engineers that we hired and trained.

We continued to grow our team by administering tests to potential engineers to ensure that they had the skills that we needed, and then provided ongoing training to teach them to become a functional part of our team.

It was by training our own team, and giving them the trust that engineers deserved that we saw a commitment to working hard towards the common goal of serving our clients. We have not lost a single engineer since swithcing to our new procedure, and our clients have never been happier.

The Next Iteration

Times are tough, and our clients are constantly asking us for advice on other services. In 2014 Johnathon Smith, our CTO, worked as the Director of Business Services for PC Care Support, and provided Managed IT to over 300 locations along the wasatch front in Utah. At times, he has used that expirience, and his engineering skills to help our clients with more than Software Development. Now we plan to extend our service to include Managed IT, and Marketing.

We want to help other companies that can not currently afford to hire thier own IT team compete in a coporation dominated market. To do that, we have once again expanded our team. We have hired new Network Engineers, Marketing Experts, and Onsite Support Techs to bring the skills our clients need under one roof, and we've created a single solution to make these services affordable.
